3rd overall in the NFL. The defense we had out last season, with injuries and Covid was a nightmare. I'm biased, but I think the Browns with Stefanski can go to the SB, for the first time. EVER

Do any men here ever talk sports?

Don't know about #1 in the AFC, but they should be vastly improved from last season. Add that to their offense, which was basically unstoppable in the 2nd half of the season, and you have a recipe for a title contender.

Very pumped for the brownies this coming season.

Actually it was CBS Sports that ranked the Browns #1, and I left that out of the title, my bad. I have to agree with you, I can't wait for September. It's been 2 decades of disappointing seasons. I've lost track of how many head coaches and QB's we've had. It's been a long road for the Browns and it's fans. But I think we finally have what it takes to make it to the top!

I doubt they're the #1 defense in the NFL but they won't be dogshit.

Which means they will probably finish like 5-12

I could see 12-5 but I’ll go conservative and say 10-7.

Not going to say impossible, because some crazy things can happen in the NFL...especially if key players get injured early on. The way the team is built now, it would be highly unlikely for them to fall back like that.

Yeah, they definitely should be set up to be a contender this year, it would just be a Browns thing to do to completely tank

Barring a season ending injury to Baker (knock on wood), I just don't see this Browns squad doing shit the bad Browns squads would do. Fundamentally, the team is night and day different and the coaching is top notch...I guess you could say it's the difference b/t a good program and a bad one.

The division will be tough, and if they make the playoffs again, you still have the Chiefs, Bills, etc waiting., but I'm pumped. More optimistic about this season than I have been for a good long time.

Difference between this group and past Browns teams is roster building. 2008 and 2019 they got all the headlines because they got the big names and then flopped. 2020 was unequivocally a better off-season because they actually added guys who fit what they needed, and this past off-season looks the same (kinda funny how doing that is better then OMB OBJ!!!).

I keep saying maybe the Browns will be the Browns or bad Baker will come back but that's tough to imagine.

Yeah, for a long time they tried to add expensive free agents thinking a handful of notable names would magically change things.

Finally built it the right way. They have what appears to be a good NFL QB now, which is the most important piece. Possibly just as important, they appear to have a good NFL head coach as well. Real contenders have both.
