Ball is in his court. He likes seeing patients though. But it’s an interim position, so if he doesn’t like it, he doesn’t have to apply for the job and can go back to his current role.

I think he’s worried he’ll like it, end up out of doing primary care at age 40 and if shit hits the fan down the road and he loses that job for any reason, he’s then an out of practice physician who hasn’t been in primary care for 5, 10, 15 years.

If they took an honest look they'd realize they're moving up to management because they didn't have any skills to begin with.

I doubt it’s a giant increase, but he doesn’t know those details yet. But if a decent increase and he wants/gets the position after interim status, that could be the impetus for me finally quitting family law.
