So I've made my final decision on all the job offers. The one that offered yesterday is the answer. No pay cut and commission for doing certain tasks. Plus it's much closer to home. Glad that's all been settled.

told my boss I was interested in applying for a Chemist position at the plant and wanted to give him the heads up.
Got a call yesterday from the guy above my boss telling me I would get blocked from accepting the position if they offered it since it is considered a lateral move and our department is hemoraging engineers.
well that just sucks. Does that mean I start looking externally?
