Your CFB team's mount rushmore.

I considered it, but idk if Tebow got beat down as bad as Nebraska beat that Manning led Tennessee team.
Bama beat Tebow and Florida pretty bad in the 2009 SECCG. Also lost to Georgia pretty lopsided in 2007, but the final score is closer than the actual game was

After that, what? Les Miles but he was a prick then and beyond creepy now so no thanks. Pappy Waldorf because haha funny name and he was above. 500. You could maybe go with Jim Stanley but no one else in our history has a record above. 500 except for Dave Smith and he only coached for one year.
No, I was saying at least you came up with three coaches. My school's roster is even shallower. I can't come up with any!

Yeah, I wouldn't call either of those as bad. In 09, halftime was 19-13 Bama and the final was 32-13. Allowing just 13 more points to lose by 19. Similar concept with UGA in 07. Halftime was 21-17 with the 4 point lead heading into the 4th quarter. Plus IIRC it was 35-30 before UGA scored late to put it away.

Nebraska led 14-3 at half and 35-9 heading into the 4th lol. IIRC, the final for Manning was 42-9 because he was pulled in the 4th. Manning also had a season low 130 yds passing when he was averaging 330 IIRC.

Idk man, it's all preference and we all lean toward our own teams greatest.... especially when it has been a while since your team has been great (like in Nebraskas case).

A whole one for coaches? Seems like it could get diluted a bit.

Coaches:
Woody
Tress
Urban
Paul Brown (wasn't there long, but figured he could take the 4 spot. Bruce has more on the resume, cause of the war... But if no war, Brown could have been the best coach in OSU history.)

Players:
Archie
Chic Harley
Those two are pretty much undebatable. For the next two, there are plenty of options, but I'll go with Willis and Spielman.
Didn.t finish reading all the posts, but one player at least on defense would be Jack Tatum.
Damn, that guy was good!

No offense but you are UTEP. You have Haskins on the mountain because of the one time he went to talk to your football coach so it counts. For you guys though if we come up with an all time college basketball Mount Rushmore you have a legit argument for your guy to be on there.

True. But even good basketball teams seem to be wwwwaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy in the past!

And, we got that HOF coach from you guys. He used to tell some good stories about his annual visit to see Iba.

Auburn might be the only program that can legitimately leave a natty winning coach off their Mount Rushmore
It took me a few days to get the sand out of my vajayjay over this post. You stole my thunder because I wanted to start my list with "Chizik ... no that can't be right ...".

Dan Fouts, Marcus Mariota, Joey Harrington and LaMichael James

Les Casanova, Rich Brooks, Mike Bellotti and Chip Kelly

Deion
Peter Warick
Chris Weinke
Jameis

That’s leaving a lot of players on the table, but that’s my four.

Coaches…..no way I could make four for this team.

I think he had more wins for the Falcons than the Lions
That was the darkest year for Atlanta sports(UGA had a surprising good year). The whole Vick dog fighting deal came out and Bobby Petrino happened for the Falcons and the Braves run was over and Ted Turner sold the team to a media conglomerate in Colorado and fucked us on the way out with the worst tv contract in US pro sports

That sounds like a Tuesday in Detroit sports now.

You ever have an NFL coach just up and leave without any warning to go coach a college team before making through even one season?
