It's the all in one stuff man. And I don't have hair. I have more hair on my face than my head if I don't take a shower on a given day. But I shave both to a smooth fine sheen daily. And somehow I manage to not look like a cancer patient. I'm blessed.

I have thought about shaving mine or at least really close, but I don't think I can pull that look off

I went the other way. A razor has not touched my face or scalp in over 10 years. I do use the clippers to trim occasionally.

I used to go no guard on the clippers but then it just grew out too quick to me plus its kind of harsh on your scalp if you do it a lot. So I started shaving it in the shower. I've only cut myself once. It's actually way easier to shave your head than your face/neck. Harder surface.

But as far as the look I just prefer it to holding on to what isn't there. I can grow hair obviously but I was way more self conscious about it before I shaved it. Doesn't bother me at all now.

I am all about growing a beard. I just have the worst hair and get tired of dealing with it

Years ago I went with a #2 all the way around. It was ok but I didn't have the cajones to go shorter

May be worth trying just once. Do it in the summer since you're off work no? Wear a hat if it sucks lol

I was 3 and a 1 blended for my entire adult life before the hair went
