Movie Wedding Crashers 2

Hacksaw Ridge was the only decent movie and he was trash in it. He is not a good dramatic actor whatsoever.

Sorry to break it to you but Wedding Crashers 2 is going to be awful like every other comedy sequel that is made 20 years later.

And I hate to break it to you but the point was they are not hurting for work.

Thats it. Vaughn has a net worth of like 70ish mil and has loads of recent projects.

So I simply said, both Vaughn and Wilson have never shown a penchant for rushing sequels(including this one) so the hope would be if they sign off they like it. Because, no.....neither guy is dying for a job. Whether you personally like their current gigs or not.

Their relevancy as actors is a far cry from where it was 20 years ago when they are were star actors in hit comedy movies.

That is why Wedding Crashers 2 is occurring. It will not be good.

Can you even name a good comedy sequel that came long after the original that actually turned out good? I don't believe there has actually been a single one.

Neither VV or Wilson are hurting for work. That is all I said matter of factly. I think said that leads me to believe they like the idea they have. Lets see if it even happens with Wilson booking another gig.

Horrible Bosses 2, eh I think that was only a few years after.

They aren't top of ticket actors anymore. WC2 gives then a movie that they star in trying to reclaim their former glory.

Movie will suck.

Mad Max isn't a comedy. Finding Dory is a a child's movie.

Clerks 2 came 12 years after the first. Clerks 2 was okay at best but certainly not on par with the original or anything to write home about.

I like it better than the original.

That came out 3 years after the original.

Not even going to touch on the quality of either of those movies but that was not a sequel of a comedy that came 20 years later.

It's funny yer so animated about this.

Who really gives a shit?
Exactly what I was thinking. How could it ever matter so much to anyone that these actors/movies are worth repeatedly arguing about with any real sense of it mattering? I can't care

Vaughn and Wilson are funny together but anybody this excited over it really needs to get a life.

They are not trying to reclaim their glory though. They both willingly moved away from these comedies.

You think if that crew VV, Owen, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell etc... all got the boys back together and wanted to start doing their movies again a studio wouldn't pick it up?? lol

You can have your opinion on if someone like Vince is good in dramatic roles(hes been very solid, critics agree) but he isnt randomly doing drama's(which you alleged he sucks at) because he can't do comedy anymore

This is a ridiculous argument you are trying to spin for no reason.

They might but that doesn't mean those movies would be good or would be hits. Will Ferrell hasn't made a good comedy since The Other Guys/Step Brothers. He has made comedies since then but they have been terrible. Ben Stiller too, not good with comedies for a decade. Last good comedy was Tropic Thunder. In fact he's a good example of making Zoolander 2 recently long after the first Zoolander and it was complete trash.

The last time Vince Vaughn had a leading role in a movie worth a damn was Wedding Crashers back in 2005 so yeah, he's not exactly a top card player anymore.
