It's almost all chains. There is a spot right down the street that may work, but good luck convincing my wife to try a different spot.

I had 2 Accords prior to this one. I liked them no complaints whatsoever. I wanted something with AWD and I like sitting up a little higher

The place that I try to get to has a nice wash setup and lube services. You get a discount on one service if you purchase the other. I am told they offer a monthly package where you get multiple washes at a fixed cost

I'm going to go back to Accord most likely in the next year or so. Not a huge fan of my fusion. I may get crazy and get an Infiniti. Which is the car I wanted when I thought I was big shit and was going to get promoted at my last company. Needless to say I didn't get the Infiniti.

My dad had an Infiniti for like twelve years and loved it. I'm driving a 2013 Toyota Corolla now, but he's warned me I'll need to replace it in the next four years. How the flying fuck I'm going to afford that while saving for the wedding and a house down payment I don't know, but I'm keeping an eye out. Right now some used cars are going for more than the new ones (???) so this is not the market I want to look at.

Cars have definitely gotten more expensive. My fusion is a 14 with only 77k miles on it and I see ones with 100k miles still going for 13k. Just seems odd to pay that much for a basic ass car with a 100k miles.

Bought my Accord in like 07 for just over 20 v6. Leather interior. Brand new. That shit is like 30 to 35 now. And they don't have a v6 anymore.

Seems like you might be a bit insecure if other peoples thoughts matter so much to you. Maybe if you didn't judge so much, you wouldn't have this affliction.

Let me ask you this, given your line of work. When you walk into a house and everything is all fucked up, do you think to yourself:

- How great that this homeowner doesn’t care what others think about the state of their home; or
- How in the fuck does someone live like this?

Personally, I’m squarely in option two.

It's worse because we want to start a family and my fiance is 6'4" so I pretty much have to go the SUV or minivan route. He just barely fits in my Corolla lol. Would VASTLY prefer SUV, not entirely sure about the financials (would services be more expensive, what about gas, can I afford hybrid), still need to actually do research. Putting it off, tbh, more concerned about just socking away what cash I can and focusing my energy on work. We've brought in some new clients and their systems are a lot to learn.

We have a couple mom and pop type car washes in the area. There was a quick oil change place in town, but that's been closed. There's one spot right down the street that may do oil changes (their specialty is tires), but again, wifey doesn't do change well.
