Man...there are some shitty parents out there. I mean, I talk like an underpaid dock worker, and threaten my kids with painful death en sech, but goddamn dude...

Had an early bday party for my boy, and the wife made the terrible decision to invite school friends...including this Tragic Kingdom kid that my daughter's known since kindergarten.

Her Mom ostensibly left her here. Guilt-tripped a sleepover, and we are against sleepovers.

Kid's a fuckhead too. Big, giant manipulative bully. We felt bad for her, initially, and still kinda do, but damn...she sucks.

I put my boot down softly earlier, and she cried, lied and spun many 'a sordid tales.

I'm running on fumes, and this bech drops a sleepover for my daughter, on my son's bday.

Fuckin deadbeats mayne.:tsk:

My daughter came home on the last day of school all excited about her friends going to “summer camp” at her school and wanted to go too.

Had to explain to her that “summer camp” is just something shitty parents send their kids to when they don’t want to deal w you. “Only shitty kids with shitty ass parents go to “summer camp” at your own fucking school.”

Poor kids. Imagine being excited to hang out at your own school all summer. Uhg.

That's also a great way to avoid paying for summer camp. I wholeheartedly approve this.

Went to a Rays game at the Trop today on vacation.

This stadium is a dump but for some reason I love it.

It's always fun to go to a MLB game, even if it isn't a team one follows,
But I do have to ask ...

Why would you choose to go to Florida for vacation in the middle of summer?

Oh ... and fuq the Mariners.

There is a pretty good channel-line north of the property, and all the "wetlands" are trees. Prolly 10 acres of forest between the river and the first semblance of "dry" land, then another 5 acres in, to get to buildable land. We'll be left with 20 buildable acres.

I plan on dumping a bunch into full grown trees.

Not a neighbor in sight. Views of the mouth of Glacier out the back and endless sky out the front(West).

I'll be sad to leave this house, as the wildlife is fairly unparalleled, but the river access, land/space and price is too good to pass.
What your doing, most people just dream about doing. It's ballsy and admirable.

Where do you plan on living until you build? And how far is the land from where you live now?

We will stay in our current home until then. We could cash out hard right now, but have nowhere really to go, and I don't think we'll lose much waiting til Spring. With a bunch of wheeling and dealing, we were able to come up with a plan be able to afford it and not break our balls doing it. Should have the land paid in full by the time we break ground.

The new lot is literally just few minutes away. Kids will stay in the same school en sech. I love where we currently are, but it's still a subdivision, and the restrictions and HOA are annoying af. Like it's a nice neighborhood, and the "mayor", (HOA bitch) is ridiculous. He bitched cuz we had our 20 ft trailer in the driveway at almost exactly the 49th hour. We were winterizing the damn thing.

This is a bunch of land, that is ours to do whatever we wish with.

Which will mostly be just fishing my bawls off.

Put the in laws single wide a little lower than your place. You might get lucky and they get washed down river

I get CCR's and HOA's. If you can see your neighbor, basic restrictions are necessary to not devalue your property, but people get too weird about shit. The idea of a restriction limiting RVs en sech, is to prevent WT junkyards. This is a nice sub. There are no junkyards.

My trailer is a 2020 ffs.

HOAs and their enabling charter CCRs are works of the devil.
Like I said, if I can throw a ball into your fucking yard, then I want some restrictions to protect my property values.

If I am outside city limits, and I can still throw that ball into your yard, there are any common areas or excessive snow, an HOA is not out of the ordinary.

I don't want any of that. I'll deal with my own shit.

get you something unique like a shipping container house and put it on the land to live in, then every time you go on vacation put it up on airbnb and have someone else pay for your vacay.

If I ever need to, there is land to deal. For now, I'm cool with no real neighbors, but ya, I could pitch a fucking tent out there right now and some fucktard would rent it.

Going to yellow stone mid Aug, then south Dakota. I may have you take us fishing.

Some of those "shipping container homes" I've seen are pretty slick!!

shit i meant your own house when you yourself went out of town lol

but yea if i had water access, 50 acres, and were interested in the extra income.......i would put a few cabins on it spread out pretty far, then put the price down real low so you keep people in them, and paid those fuckers off in a few years.
