A Monday Thread...in honor of National Simplicity Day

Three paint jobs delayed due to materials/labor shortage in the construction industry, so I have the day (maybe week) off.

Golf sounds good.

Dogsat the daughter's dog over the weekend. Time replace the screen on the back door...again.
mine has some holes, but he's pretty good at not fucking it up too much...but maybe next season

If you are a documentary fan, I watched one last night that I highly recommend. It's called the Dyatlov Pass Incident.
that's the one that Alive was based on, right?

I had never heard of this story before but in 1959 a group of Russian college students went on a hiking expedition into a pretty remote part of the country and never returned. Their bodies were found several weeks later with horrific injuries. The Russian government ruled that they died in an avalanche but the nature of the injuries and locations of the body indicated something else happened. The records were sealed for almost 60 years. Why?

They recently reopened the investigation and this filmmaker tried to retrace the hikers' steps to try and figure out what may have happened. Its stranger than fiction

If you like conspiracy theories you will love this. It's got UFO's, Nuclear weapons, government cover-ups, and even a Yeti.

That's what I initially thought, but this is a different story
I have this book in my "to read" list on Goodreads.

I'm torn on this weather. It's nice for general comfort but blows with the overcast/rain and fucking the pool temp up...and mowing. Don't recall this for many July's

Almost clicked "play" on that one yesterday but I didn't and watched a few more episodes of El Chema

Was it worth it?
