Sounds like she's just a motivated person...we eat early, it used to drive me nuts, but I've adapted.
Mrs Pnk starts her day early at gym, so her meal schedule is in line with senior citizens
now that we WFH, not as huge of deal, but would be frustrating at times when I was grilling to immediatly get home from work, have to get grill going, dinner prepared, etc

you gonna tip?
Since I do all the cooking and don't get home with the kids until about 5:30, we generally don't eat until 7pm.we eat early, it used to drive me nuts, but I've adapted.

They're now a non tip restaurant. They add service fee used to pay employees higher wages. Few other places have gone this route. Doesn't bother me one bit
One of my complaints is it does annoy me if I feel server went above and beyond and there system won't let me tip
Restaurant automatically adds a Service Charge of 20% to all orders. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 177.23, subdivision 9, this Service Charge is not a tip or gratuity for employee service. However, this Service Charge does go towards supporting equitable wages for all our employees, hospitality included.
They have to say that per the statute, otherwise they can't spread it around to all of the employees. That's not what their website says. Unless you mean you won't even get the option to tip more than 20%? LOfuckingL to that shit.

The Twin Cities’ Favorite Fried Chicken Restaurant Is Now Open in St. Louis Park
Revival opens in the Texa-Tonka complextwincities.eater.com
Other restaurants are going this direction, and so long as the fee charged actually does support higher wages, I support it.
I've said before I'd rather just pay 20% and not tip knowing 20% more went to employee's
well, there is a labor shortage and still able to hire employees by attracting them with a higher hourly wageSo, like Pnk said, they don't let you tip there? Sounds like a bummer for the employees.
The 20% goes to the employees....it gets spread around to all of the employees and not just your specific wait staff. What the fuck are you not understanding here? So, like Pnk said, they don't let you tip there? Sounds like a bummer for the employees.
So is Spoon and Stable.well, there is a labor shortage and still able to hire employees by attracting them with a higher hourly wage
Brasa is another restaurant gone this route.

When did I say I wasn't understanding anything? The 20% goes to the employees....it gets spread around to all of the employees and not just your specific wait staff. What the fuck are you not understanding here?

Do you think a busboy or line cook works less hard than a wait staff?lol. That's so bad.
I mean, as I posted in another thread about Revival and your other fine establishments with those fees, it's so dumb as fuck.
I guess if most people tip like trash, it will help some employees. But if I was a server and the busboy was making the same money I am and I'm not getting tipped....lofuckingl.
I'm sincerely curious how this is going.
I went to Ireland and almost nowhere accepts tips there. It's a different concept, but I still got food and drinks there. When did I say I wasn't understanding anything?
You're de-incentivizing good service now and demotivating servers.
Way to go Minnesota I guess.
