Retrieved the children yesterday. Good to have them back, but the change in decibel level was a shock to the system.

Back to real life for a few weeks before we go on our trip.

The woods between the fairgrounds and our property gets in the way. When we were renting our apartment before we moved here, we could see the fireworks from the parking lot, because there was only a small tree line.

Here, the fireworks don't go high enough to be visible over the trees.

Remember those! Played with them for a bit but if I had a matchbox cars and my plastic road made thing I would be using that for hours upon hours
