I don’t wanna read 41 pages, I shouldve kept up.

what’s the consensus, it ain’t gonna happen? Because that’s what I’m thinking.

It's happening. The big question now is what does everybody else do in response? There's some wild rumors out there.

As soon as the GOR is up, its gonna happen.

...just like I said HERE a week or so ago.

Would rather see Texas and Oklahoma go to PAC and keep things more competitive.

Well my post came true, haven’t even been accepted into the SEC yet but are claiming academic superiority to Vandy.
Vandy is an expensive school for rich kids to go to and marry other rich kids. Stop pretending they’re Rice.

It is going to be so funny when Vanderbilt beats Texas in their first football matchup.

I have found myself being less and less willing to take the time and spend the money to see a lot of OU home games And we have stopped going to most away games except for Texas and Oklahoma State. Truthfully, playing a lot of the Big XII teams no longer sent a tingle up my leg. So I just give our tickets to someone else who doesn't have any other way to see a game in good seats and let them enjoy the experience. But I can hardly wait for SEC teams to come marching into Norman acting like they own the place and see what happens when OU has a steady diet of really good opponents. And I'm looking forward to making trips to many of the SEC schools because I know it's going to be wild as hell when Oklahoma rolls into town to play them. We already know the Alabama fans are great visitors and great hosts; we'll see about the other schools.

They are until they start creeping u out talking about 'keeping it in the family' and then get you put on probation.

They are. We were there in Knoxville when OU came back from being down 17 points and Baker Mayfield threw a touchdown pass to Sterling Shepard to win it in double overtime. It was the sixth straight nonconference road game OU won and that stretch included Tennessee the year before, Alabama, Florida State and Notre Dame. We went to all of them but that was the best game of them all. The Tennessee people were super hosts.

Just had a thought: TCU and Baylor both spent a jillion dollars on improving their facilities and have been depending on a long term revenue stream from the Big XII to pay for everything. Can you imagine what's going through their athletic directors' minds now? Oklahoma State did the same thing but it was a few years earlier and may (or may not) be in a similar situation.
Maybe Baylor would have already paid for those bills had it not have to spend so much money for covering up a murder and sexual assaults.. and paying Art his full salary

PAC cities are nice but.. If UT joined them.. it would eventually fall apart like the SWC and Big12. Politics just don't add up and I really would hate the 10pm CST kickoff times when UT plays out there

BYU just agreed to a 7 year contract agreement with ESPN last year. That would be where they'd get guaranteed income from. Then WVU could subsidize their other sports and get more money that way too. Assuming the Big East would want them back, which I'm guessing they would. WVU is a top 25 program the last 15 years IMO.

As far as scheduling, they'd probably be able to field a BYU like type of schedule. Which would be better than a G5 schedule IMO.
WVU still doesn’t have a National draw like BYU. I doubt their deal would be anywhere close to that. I get what you mean and perhaps it could work. I’d be worried about scheduling too though. There maybe some years where we only have 4 home games and truthfully that can’t happen.
