welcome back Big 10

wonder if they will be eligible for a CFP birth.. they would have to cram a season beginning oct 18th.. SEC/ACC/Big12 will at least have 4 games played by then, others 5..
Then plan was to have a CCG in December with the October start so I don't see why they couldn't still be considered

Hey @OlyDuck is the PAC next? Or is it still too dangerous to play in the west?

So is the B1G playing or not?

So where are all those Ohio State fans that were talking shit on SH about how ACC, SEC, BIG12 would follow the B1G lead in shutting down for the Fall and it was just a matter of days before they did so. Like B1G was cutting edge leaders in care for athletes, all the while basing their decision on intangible bullshit.

ESPN is saying they won't have the votes "according to sources".. Actually I don't even care, Texas is playing..I'm good

lol it's a source off!!

its to my understanding that when the Pac-12 cancelled they put out a thorough explanation as to why in a press release

the Big Ten didn't. Big Ten just expected everyone to follow their lead b/c they were Big Ten

This happened, too

Refresh my memory on that explanation. I do forget what was said.

PAC released a full 13 pg or so report on WHY it was postponing the season.. BIG just put a generic notice out there.

Again, refresh my memory, what was the explanation?

tldr; version

fear the ability to isolate new positive cases, lack of testing availability immediately after games, local health officials fear hospitals being overwhelmed, university's medical staff being overwhelmed w/ increase work load + potential for uncontrollable cases spread on campuses
Thank you

its refreshing to see a conference stand by what they say earlier.
