It's possible. Depends on the compensation offered.
You think there’d be any huge problems like politically in states to make sure that doesn’t happen? Its a good idea for the B1G to do and if it’s truly a realistic possibility they should seriously dive into it.

In Washington or Oregon perhaps. California has little sway over USC/Stanford.

Hence why the compensation package is important.

Well yeah, that’s why I didn’t mention UCLA.

Would Oregon or Washington do it no problem if the compensation was right? I’d have to think it’d be a ton of money.

It would.

If the B1G wants USC, Oregon, Washington and Stanford do they get them?

That would be an interesting move...

Then the new Big8 could merge with the new Pac8 and become the new BigPac16?? :heh:

Think they’d keep P5 status? Because the orphan 8 would probably go for it if that’s the case.

Not necessarily stumping for TCU. But they are a solid program in talent rich Texas. Seems like not a terrible fit for the PAC. And truthfully, who else would come to the pac realistically that’s a better fit and a money generator other then Kansas.
That is a solid question. I was just rebutting because I don’t see TCU as bringing anywhere near what you do. However I have stumped for BYU in the past.

Would really like to see the new stadiums in Los Angeles/Las Vegas step up and pay for some big money OOC games with PAC/SEC/BigTen opponents.
Well yeah, but aren’t most of the big non conference games on neutral sites sponsored games? Outside of Nike and their amateur basketball sponsoring does another west coast company ever really sponsor anything? I know the city of Seattle begged Microsoft, Amazon and TMobile for the past 5 years. Boeing has sponsored the Apple Cup but that isn’t legitimate money.

Never really thought about that situation if that were to happen. I don't know. They just might... :noidea:

BYU’s anti-LGBTQ stance will keep them out. Didn’t know they had that. That’ll be a problem for any conference they try to join.

The anti alphabet community isn’t why, it was always because they don’t play on Sunday’s and the conference couldn’t work it out with Olympic sports. I know BYU won’t be allowed because the Pac 12 conference is full of bigotry as proven by the slander they pulled on BYU last year with Washington. But I was just using an example of how I have stumped for BYU and was curious why he was appearing to be stumping for TCU.

Might be true in the past, but with the environment we are in today with getting cancelled and that sort I don’t thing I don’t think they would be allowed in.

I know and I think it is. If BYU or any school has a policy what does it have to do with anything. The Pac 12 schools have zero problem with scheduling them like the 13th member in every sport. Recruits shit loads of Mormons from the Pacific. It is just a double standard that is moronic.
