10 Egg Monday

One my my favs is people getting pissed and quitting their exercise program

"I'm not losing any weight!!!!"

Well no shit you aren't losing weight. You haven't changed your terrible diet one iota. An extra Big Mac isn't a treat for exercise

Also helps when you dont let your kid sit and game for 10 hours a day

It’s a tough balance. I got one kid who is a damn genius and I’m convinced gaming that really assisted in not only the wide variety of interests he has but also his vocabulary and reading ability. He’s also a very quick thinker and decision maker. Luckily he’s also an athlete and plays outdoors a lot but even for him I have to push him outside sometimes and remind him to take a break from the electronics. It’s really what they do with them. I’m convinced they can be great educational tools.

@williewilliejuan also fat shames the whales at Sea World. Its bad enough they are endangered and kept in confinement. But he takes it a step further and shames them

Or they go on some crazy diet for a few weeks, lose a few pounds and then act surprised when it comes back when they go back to their old ways. “Diets don’t work for me”. No shit, diets don’t work for anyone. You have to change your lifestyle and continue it forever.

Or they are gaining muscle while losing fat but only go by the scale instead of how their clothes might be fitting.

I agree they can be great cognitive development tools. However like with most things in this world...moderation

Right? They eat like a bird for a month and then think they can go back to the same old dietary habits

Agreed. My two younger girls are both athletes so they get a good amount of exercise each week, but I do worry about screen time. The youngest one goes back to school on Thursday, so that should help some.

So much virtue, so little time to post it all.
