National Shapewear Day Tuesday Thread

I almost forgot peppers at the store today. Was checking out (self checkout), and ran over to produce to grab them
Forgot cilantro yesterday. Gonna have to run back to the store later for that, probably gonna do tacos tomorrow.

Probably selling him a free rate 2k above the 0 points and using the kickback as incentive. He’s better off just getting a solid rate. 2.25% on a 30 exists for qualified clients.
I was at a 2.99 from March/April, just was able to get Rocket to get me down to 2.5. Planning on making the same payment as I am currently, since it's only like a $40 difference, but just doing that pays off the loan about 6 months faster than doing nothing and saves me $14K over the life of the loan in interest.

i have cilantro

I've refied twice already,

It was tempting to do it again, but closing costs really add up

I've also considered a cash out refi to redo the kitchen

I'm think I'm at 2.875 on a 15 right now. I've been quoted as low as 2.25 with no points on 15....I think if it got down 2, I'd consider

I've seen 15s at sub-2. I don't really like adding onto the loan, but with the cashout I did earlier, this only adds like 6 months onto the loan anyway, and if I make the same payment, I save about $14K in interest.

but no jalapeno

I keep thinking I should just do small raised bed garden to grow some herbs and hot peppers
I'm for it. Can never seem to keep cilantro from bolting, though. Have a ton of basil, more thyme and oregano than I know what to do with, and chives are a nice touch when we make potatoes.

I should've waited bit to refi, TBH but 2.875 is still a good rate.

Obviously if there were no closing costs or minimal, I'd be all for it. I have a little under 14 years left. Once house is paid off, the plan is to go to 2/3 or 3/4 time

Very smart and highly advisable if you can afford to do it.

yup... that was real glass on the picture frame....

You're 2.875 on a 15? Just played around with the numbers a bit, and depending on how much they add in as closing costs, you could do something similar to me, where you just put the "savings" in as an additional payment and you'd be out of your mortgage a bit faster with a lot less spent on interest, and a bit less spent over the life of the loan.

Do you realize who you're talking to about numbers?
