GAME Nebraska @ #3 Oklahoma | 11:00am | FOX

Media is saying that the Husker players look fit and the weight training has paid off.

Obviously this means Nebraska by 3 touchdowns.
Sir, put the Kool aid down and back away with your hands on your head

No way. They are saying it has been some of the best practices since they've been there.

Joe Castiglione tried to get FOX to put this game at 2:30 or 6:00, but they wouldn't do it. He was super pissed. And the rest is history.

Just think of all the get togethers, speeches, talks, introductions, and all that before 11:00 oclock.

I guess FOX got exactly what they deserved and hope they go broke.

On the long touchdown run Johnny Rogers made against OU in the 1971 game, the OU coaching staff exploded when a clipping penalty was not called against Nebraska.

Here's what happened. The great Johnny Rogers juked and then headed up the OU sideline like Jesus on a go-kart. OU's Everett Marshall, who was the fastest guy in the Big 8 and ran pro track after graduation, was gaining on Rogers like a mofo and would have taken him down somewhere between the 10-15 yard line. But Joe Blahak came from across the field and hit Marshall in the back which left Rogers free to score the TD. On film it happens in the blink of an eye so it is not surprising the officials missed it. And there was no instant replay in 1971 so the touchdown stood. We can all wonder what might have happened if the penalty had been called. Nebraska might have scored a touchdown later anyway. Or OU could have held them to a field goal or maybe even not allowed any points on the possession. Who knows? For sure, a penalty was missed.

Here is a photograph of the play. Would you call it a clip?

Doesn't even look like 27 is touching him. This looks like a dive. Penalty bait.

Without other angles, I'd say this is a good no call.

Look at the video. Everett Marshall was splattered on the play and you can see him going down. It was a missed penalty. Stuff happens.

Again, there is no clear indication that he actually touched him. He could have dove at the last minute because he saw 27 coming at him. And that is worse evidence than the picture

I've always been a big Huskers fan but some of you Nebraska honks are getting embarrassing.
