celebrate with some tater tots.
 
golf was cancelled yesterday due to a downpour around 4 that causes the county to close the course for the evening. Greens were flooded, it would have made for sloppy golf.

so came home, walked the pooch, rode the talkie bike, went to the bar to see a buddy play some music. Not a bad night.

Big day yesterday as I finalized my son’s football team roster for the Fall. Got 5 kids coming back, 2 of them are prob the 2 best in the whole league. They were last season. First season as HC. Worked my way up from parent just helping out to bench coach to OC (6-0 won the division) to HC. Heavy favs this season.

Fingers crossed we get the Seahawks, That’s the most sought out team/jerseys every year. The kids love the colors.

We got our rosters for football yesterday as well. My middle kid got on a team with 3 other kids he played baseball with this summer. He's super excited. I'm not coaching this year, but will be helping out. If I had signed up for coaching, there was a strong likelihood he would've been put on a different team than his friends because their parents were coaching.

I muted all our mutual friends who would be posting anything like that. I have been doing pretty ok there.

I drugged myself with some melatonin too, so no crying needed!

Ya after a few seasons you start seeing the same kids sticking together. We played a team last season where every kid knew each other and played baseball together too. Certainly helps with consistency. The O I installed last season is way above this grade level but the kids were able to pick it up because they’re so familiar w each other.

Not only is he the best player in the league he plays up which means he’s the youngest kid in the league too.

Wants to play at tOSU. We’ll see how it goes. Right now he’s that dude.
