Meh-nday Morning

I have no motivation to work today

but I have to

I'll probably just piss away a day off.
oh I'm gonna work..but it will be tedious stuff that takes very little thinking to accomplish

I have some stuff coming due that will take actual work and I just don't want to deal with that today

Great weekend! 3rd place in the golf tournament on Friday
Revolution game Saturday
would have been a great Sunday at the WooSox game if wasn't cancelled for a "hurricane"

Hopefully everyone is safe from it as I know it was pretty bad down south

Basically skimmed us here, had some heavy rain Sunday morning and a little more rain this AM. Some areas a little to the north got like 5-6 inches of rain, which is nuts.

Heard parts of TN got over a foot of rain from a different system.

Bought new pressure washer.

Works much better old one

I'm going to run my old one into the ground, but the newer ones are obviously better. My sister and BIL got one earlier this year, think it rates out at like 500 PSI more than mine. Mine does what it needs to do. Need to clean the deck this fall, I think.

Nerf gun fight at work this morning.

"the albany branch is working right through lunch to prevent downsizing, but michael, he decided to extend our lunch for an hour so that we could all go down to the dojo to watch him fight dwight."

I went from 1700 to 2300 PSI.

It cut time in half of cleaning out water feature and I didn't get soaked in the process.

Closed on the refinance. Basically added 9 months onto the loan, but if I keep making the same payments, I pay it off about a year ahead of schedule.

I think mine tops out at 1200-1500. The only "water feature" I have to clean out is a birdbath.

I talked with my mortgage guy, it didn't make sense

If rates dip again I might revisit

I'm sure 1700 would've been enough.

I'll just list old one for free on neighborhood FB group

Now you can blow the emblems right off of your car.

pressure washing a birdbath is pretty satisfying.

Yeah, I only did it because I could save a bit. The first few quotes didn't really make sense, but then one lender got really aggressive with their rates, and my current bank sweetened the pot, so I kinda figured it made sense to shave half a point off. Also, this makes it a bit easier to pay it off faster when I'm older, since I get to >50% of payment to principal faster. Saves about $13K on the life of the loan.
