I actually have more confidence in that one than a couple of the others (N'western/Minny). I think Nebraska can legit go 2-1 in those games.

In the last 3 years, Iowa has beaten Nebraska by 3 pts, 3 pts, and 6 points respectively. one of those was a FG in OT, the another was a last second FG.
Nebraska is at home.
Nebraska will be coming off back-to-back Ohio St and Wiscy losses.

Northwestern is probably my least confidence coming off a Michigan St win and the players spending all week with their heads in the clouds. However, Nebraska only lost to them by 8 last season on the road. Nebraska beat Northwestern in 2019.

I've got Minnesota a win since the Huskers will likely be coming off a loss to Michigan. They only lost to Minny by 7 last season.

Fuck, they could lay an egg on the Purdue game if they beat Minnesota. Heads in the clouds shit.

Mind you, my prediction is based on Nebraska's offense stopping the stupid penalties and turnovers. Stop the shooting yourself in the foot shit. The opponent doesn't need any damned help.
Nebraska's line play should be improved both sides of the ball. I think a lot of the 'culture diva's' of the Riley era have been finally washed out.

I could certainly miss the 8.5 by a half point. i.e. Off by one game.

I can see the argument for 10.5. A 10-2 regular season is very possible and that would be a PACCG or Bowl could put them over 10.5. Over 11.5 seems unlikely IMO.

Another year of losing 3 or more games by one score or less would be tough for many to swallow.

Outside of a couple seniors this is finally an all Frost team. Let's see what happens now that the Riley culture should be washed out.

They've taken a verbal beating since last December. I'd think that motivated them somewhat.

Nebraska is said to have one of the top 5 toughest schedules this year. I just don't see a team coming off of its 4th straight losing season putting together an 8 win season if the schedule toughness holds up. I'll be the first to applaud them if they even get to 6 wins, but prove me wrong first.
