This call right here makes Jim Joyce look like the best umpire ever

@Winged_Wheel88 should be here any minute since his hero Jim Joyce name was brought up

Can’t see if he touches the plate from that angle.

I’ll accept what the ump called as correct.

I was gonna say, is that the only/best angle that we have of it? If I wanted to show him being "obviously safe" that is not the clip I would use.

The leg he slid on definitely didn’t touch the plate. Maybe his left foot or leg did, idk. He prolly doesn’t even know, but the ump might.

There were other angles showed last night that showed he was clearly safe. But in real time the umpire is gonna call that out every time, and you can’t rely on replay. They had to show different angles and slow it way down before you could see his foot touched home before the tag.

Stupid send anyways. Why would you send your 6’5 first baseman not known for his speed from first on a ground ball up the middle?

But that wasn’t as bad as Riley making that out at second, that wasn’t a bad send, that was just bad base running. First and third with one out is better than a man on third with 2 outs

And at any rate, Gary Sanchez is a douche. Freddie deserved to be called out for not trainwrecking his ass

But my biggest issue last night was when Joc Pederson got hit by a pitch, but the home ump ruled he swung and it was strike 3 when the replays showed he clearly didn’t swing and Joc was pleading his case with the umpire and got tossed while Snit was sitting on his ass in the dugout the entire time. That spot has got to be an ejection for the manager everytime without exception. Snit has checked out. Hopefully he retires at the end of the year because he’s never gonna be fired

Should Freeman have just plowed into him like a truck?
