If it's just a class, you should've gotten up earlier to get a new bottle of gin.
i woke up 15 minutes before noon, i don't know how much earlier one can be expected to wake up. just have to pay attention to hear the magic word i have to reply back in an email too to get credit.

Now you just download an app to your phone.
Not ours. It's a physical device you attach. And it isn't 90 days. It can be permanent if you want.

don't always have the gif you want, though.

Water heater failed the Friday before Labor Day. Landlord had the repair guys out that Sunday, bless them.
Failed again on this past Sunday (and started leaking fml), and they were out and replaced the whole damn thing yesterday.

It's the one real upside to renting.

what kind of cracker jack insurance do you have? I figured they all moved to apps by now

Years ago I did have to put one of those devices in my car to avoid an increase after a minor accident

It's annoying, but hey, saved us $240/year

also, I came in in first place between wife and I.....

no shocker there

Yeah, when it's your place it's your money. They just probably up the rent a few bucks next year to cover the cost of a new one.

My water heater sprung a leak while we were on our way home from florida. Grand daughter was out checking the house and called all excited and scared "there's water everywhere!!".
I told her how to shut the valves off.

So after over 2 months in florida I get to change the water heater out first thing when I get home.

Water heaters die in threes.

Yours, mine, and @ladyrockess's.

Maybe if you weren't using your phone to power message boards you'd have enough bandwith to get your free money.
That's not all I do. I also read a lot of news and do a lot of google searches trying to find other gubmint programs I can cash in on.

Every now and then, I'll take one of Mrs Redfoot's watches and put it around my dick, then text her a pic of it with the caption, "do you know what time it is?"
One of her rings, you mean.

Our rent is locked in at the same price for next year (starts in October, we just signed the new lease) and are resigning ourselves to what will probably be a BIG hike the next year :(

That blows. The repair guy had to re-plumb a pipe because the new heater is bigger than the old one, and showed me where the new shutoff valve is. Bless that man, he was so efficient, and even insisted on staying long enough to test it and be sure the water was in fact heating. Apparently his father taught him that and once or twice he did install a new heater that didn't heat water so he had to yank it out and return it.

Yeah, I'm hoping I'm done with appliances dying for awhile. Even though I'm not paying for them out of pocket right now, being without hot water was miserable.
