when you can't run.. all u can do is throw.. they did ok.. better than last season's opener vs LaTech. We'll see how they do vs Bowman a week from Saturday. Tech has some good WRs..well atleast that true freshman Fuonji

What is your prediction on the OU/Texas spread this year assuming neither of us screws the pooch before 10/10?

the secondary was solid. Thompson played like a star. I believe PFF had him the 2nd or 3rd best DB in the country. Jamison was solid. CB was a pleasant surprise. Adimora looked great CS the run, but had some shaky moments in coverage. OU will attack there. I didn’t see coverage busts that plagued Texas under Orlando. All that said the Miners weren’t a tough test and Texas went pretty vanilla. I think you will see a more consistent Texas Defense this year. I will reserve judgement on whether it will be a strong unit, until I see a game or 2 vs competition with a pulse

I have no idea.. I would think UT would be favored if they continue to put over 40 pts a game on the board (only because of Sam being a SR). But it would be something like 3.5 pts.. Probably gets heavy action on ou.

I just want Texas to win, and I think they will
