Nebraska Sell Out Streak

I’m just amazed that these guys are saying they’ve know about the donors for years (meaning they knew the “sell outs” weren’t real) and still time and time again I’ve see these guys brag about the “streak” and they are defending it to the death.

The gig is up guys and Pandora is out of the box. Man up and stop promoting some bogus claim.
BuT eVeRy SchOoL DoEs iT!

That’s why everyone claims a sellout streak, or something.

Guys, check out this article. This giving away tickets has been going on since at least 2015. That's at least six years of bullshit streak.

"buy up tickets that had been returned by the opponent"

LOL

I'm guessing you missed that part.

Season tickets make up near 80% of all tickets sold.

100%? That seems like a lot. I'm sure they've legitimately sold some tickets.

Derp. Weak ass troll.

80% of official capacity are 'Season Tickets' which sell-out in May.

The away team is allotted a certain amount of tickets in the 100's. They don't get turned back in to Nebraska until late. Hence them being bought up and donated.

I’m just here to watch you boys sweat and embarrass yourselves defending this farce.
i mean there is nothing to "defend" tickets were sold out and we pack our stadium beyond capacity...

sounds more like someone is a bit jealous... ill be sure to look at the stands next time i watch auburn play an fcs opponent...

Because you can't.

I just proved that Husky stadium can't even make official capacity. You're not alone, your own AD is crying about it.
Right… I’ll just ignore the irrelevance. I know this is some serious shit for you and it’s got you a little emotional about it.

Well Auburn can't even sell-out an FBS opponent.

It's obviously a "serious" emotional issue for you.

I do hope you find a way to limit your misery of all things that are unfair in life.

The why doesn't change the fact that they're giving away tickets to prop up their bullshit sellout streak.

If it was such a hot commodity, you'd think they'd be able to sell a few hundred tickets pretty easily, but they can't. They have to beg "friends of the program" to bail them out and they've been doing it since at least 2016.

And no Auburn donors care about underprivileged kids who can't afford to go to a game.
Or... and hear me out here... maybe other programs have things to be proud of like winning records, bowl wins or championships and don't have to cling to a farcical "sellout" record.

Hey, dumbass...

The university is not "giving away" anything. The tickets are purchased by donors.

They're 'donated' (given away) once sold. It's a charitable tax deduction.

If the opponent's 'returned' tickets had been available last May like the 80% season tickets and regular tickets to fans, they'd likely have been sold back then.

EVERY ticket entering the stadium has it's barcode digitally scanned with a handheld scanner.

Have you even been to a large sporting event in the last 10 years or are you just an armchair QB?
Ok so how many guys do you have that sneak out and start running tickets on the scanner? Because at this point I’m pretty damn sure that is going on at Nebraska.

Nebraska has plenty to be proud of.

It's obvious you're bent out of shape about the sell-out streak because you can't claim it.

You would if you could no different than your tuba player dotting the "i" being a big deal.

Yeah the sold them at a “reasonable price”.

You guys are like toddlers getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar. Deny deny deny.
