Nebraska Sell Out Streak

That was fucking dumb and laughable. No I wouldn't.

Actually I could care less about the sell-out streak. Use your little search function to see where I've ever brought it up on here or East German hoopla.

LOL at you thinking 8-5 Washington or Auburn are in a good position moving forward.

LMFAO!!!
:spit:

and yet at the end of the day id rather have nebraskas history than auburns
Yeah but we were talking about the future. From that point of view it sucks to be you.

I think based on these revelations, the NCAA should throw the book at Nebraska for these shenanigans. Unfortunately, if they do the chances are that book will languish there unopened.

The incessant crying is the equivalent to throwing a fit over one of the 80% who bought season tickets in May not being able to attend giving their tickets to family or friends.

donors buying tickets and giving them away has gone on everywhere forever but it isnt a means to support a sellout streak...
Whatever you need to tell yourself, but everyone else knows why they're doing it.

Things currently longer than Nebraska's sellout streak:

1. Number of shits I've had today
2. Number of posts since a Nebraska fan said "butthurt"
3. This list.

nobody can predict the future. a meteor could fall and level the state of alabama from that point of view, sucks to be you

Hey! Not if their boosters can keep this "sellout" streak on life support. That's good for something, right!?

i dont need to tell myself anything, my butt isnt hurting over it either way. I only get the sads when i check these forums and dont see the red alert showing i have a hopeful reply so i can continue making fun of someone ;)

Oh, yeah. Now that we know it's been going on for forty plus years, it's pretty clear the record isn't legitimate at all. Check out what these desperate clowns did:

So, if Nebraska boosters hadn't been artifically propping up the "sellout" streak all this time, Oklahoma and probably Georgia would have actually broken their record by now.

I've no idea. I don't spend my day crying on message boards about how many tickets are sold by other schools.

Where I come down on this issue is if the tickets are being purchased by "generous donors" and even dropped out of a helicopter I'm OK with that. If the ticket prices are being discounted to "generous donors" then yeah it's a farce. Does anyone know what the donors are paying for the tickets? There's your fair answer right there.

Nope. nebraska was winning in the 90's and didnt drop off after the streak started until recently. your logic is flawed

I know for a fact boosters/donors were offered opponents returned tickets before being sold to the general public in the 90's.

I knew someone who worked at Union Pacific who's department would buy them for employees or charitable purposes.

Auburn has about 2 years and then we’ll make some noise. We are good to make a solid run every 10 years with a couple of decent ones in between.

1972 - One loss number 5 in the country.
1983 - One loss number 2 in the country
1993 - 11-0 but on probation
2004 - Undefeated
2010 - National Champs
2013 - Played for a national championship

Auburn should make a run in 2023 or 2024 based on historical trends going back to the 70’s.

Nebraska legitimately may never sniff the playoff.

You're Bama's little sister. Get over it.

considering how hard tickets used to be to come by in large chunks yea it was a favor when they got that usually due to big donations they got dibs at returned visitor tickets

hell even now you almost have to wait for someone to die to get a shot at season tickets
