GAME Tennessee vs. Bowling Green - 7 p.m. CST, Sept 2nd on SEC Network

Always thought Harrison Bailey was the best fit at QB for yall, but that's just me.

The fans are clamoring for him right now but not sure we have seen enough of Milton to get a fair analysis.

Well, I wouldn't think you would, not this early.
He's letting his QB settle in.

Nothing hard.
Wear down the opponent.
Call the right plays.

People are too impatient

Agree, and just like that they scored. All run plays this drive too. Kind of reminds me of early 1990s Tennessee lmfao.

Ran it down their throats, I think UT coaches be experimenting a little bit. The defense needs to assert some dominance for a few series now.

Agreed but having us as a 37 point favorite in the odds was stupid. I knew better. This team is full of players and coaches that are not familiar with each other.

I also do NOT think Bowling Green is as bad as everyone puts them down to be, even if we beat them 52-6, I will stick to that statement.

Bowling Green brought in a bunch of transfer players and they were not healthy at all last season. The announcers were talking about that at the start of the game prior to kickoff. This is the healthiest and most talented Bowling Green team then they have had in years.

Yep, like to see the play calls from 2nd quarter I may be wrong but seemed like they got away from runnin the ball some, my guess is to get Milton some work in.

Going to bed, but hopefully the Vols put these cats away. Don't feel like seeing a bunch of depressed teachers in the morning.

Joe Milton is a smart player but he isn't a very accurate passer.

Strong strong arm but gotta learn to put some air under it.

Got away from running the ball again and then short routes on 3rd and 13. :nono:

Run. the. ball.

28-6... at least we won't lose the game... :). Still not doing well in the passing game though. Definitely can run the ball on them.

LOL, Bowling Green keeps getting flags for 12 men on the field.

Id be more alarmed with the defense than the passing game TBH.

I knew the defense would be a problem all along. It has actually been better than I thought actually. They only have 6 points (I expected them to have 20 by now). The thing is, though, Bowling Green just burns the clock when they get the ball. That is their only game play, throw a lucky pass, get a first down, then burn 5-6 mins off... rinse and repeat.

Ah damn, pass interference on 4th down, ugh.

Tipped ball

Yep... hopefully this call gets reverse.

Bowling Green is like that annoying AI on NCAA Football that doesn't really score but just fucking burns game clock and keeps you from being on offense.

Milton is a decent run threat himself. Gonna be interesting to see how much they use him in that role all year

Yeah, I am thinking the intangible is why he may have won the job. Our lack of a passing game though is really worrying me.
