Prob gonna take some time to develop. I keep going back to what UT is showing and not showing to Pitt, Pitt is a possible win on the schedule and a step towards being bowl eligible so gotta think they are keeping things pretty vanilla in this game and taking advantage of every game they realistically CAN win

Well, some passes need to be caught but, the arm is strong enough to keep defenses honest/back far enough to be keep the run game in play so... Can the backup do that?

This is just like Tennessee Offense, go from 1st and 10 at the 10 yard line to a FG because of two holding calls on TDs that were called back.
To me, holding is a bullshit call. Should be 5 yards, not 10.

I swear Bowling Green has had no desire to win this game in the second half. Their offense's only purpose is to just burn out as much clock as possible which is now playing in Tennessee's hands since they are doing the same lmfao.

With what he was facing, I am fine with the result. Not sure about Joe Milton as a future option (it is hard to tell because there was some WR mistakes that he got blamed for by the fans).
Also Bowling Green did everything they could to get score down. They were not even trying to win the game but rather eat clock.

I think the part about Heupel 'hiding' his offense for now, is pretty spot on.
It looked like he was running the basics, easy stuff for everyone to settle in.
Not sure what everyone expected in game one, with a new Coach, running a new system.
The fans will come around. But there will be loses this year and they won't like that.

There are some better ones further back in thread. A lot of complaining about Milton and calling him Jarrett Guarantano part II and Heupel as Pruitt part II. Problem is I would have to dig for them.
Oh, I have no doubt about it.
Milton had a couple of brain farts, but played well otherwise.
We'll see what he does under real pressure.
Plus, you can't embarrass that kind of opponent.
