I don't think you have to worry about Wiscy or any team from the B1G sans OSU making it to the CFP. After watching the Wiscy/PSU game -- i think both will struggle to put up points this year.

Yes -- poor offenses. Clifford is a train wreck of a QB. Mertz looked great when PSU was giving him free throws in bounds to let the clock run. Other than that -- he looked horrendous.

But if it makes you feel better to call the teams defenses great as an excuse, feel free. I'm watching a great defense right now in Bama. I wonder what you'd call their defense.
