Well the Oregon Ducks opened their season in Autzen stadium against a pesky Fresno state team. The bulldogs put up a cute effort when the Ducks lost their heisman candidate at DE and starting LB to injury, but Oregon is resilient and came away with the victory!

Obviously the concern here is the health of Oregon’s top defenders, in particular heisman candidate and No. 1 overall NFL draft prospect Kayvon Thibodeaux, heading into Ohio State week.

Oregon got the win in their season opener, dealing with injuries and potentially having an eye on the Buckeyes. Great first test for the Ducks to over come the challenges and adversity and getting the W!

Fresno is a perennial difficult program. You may have missed it in my pregame post, but Fresno st was the Boise st of college football before Boise state and their program was brought back under Jeff Tedford.

Fresno has something like 6 former starting pac 12 players on their team. They most definitely would be capable of winning against many P5 teams.

Fresno would actually be a great addition to the Big 12.

There really isn't much preview to write about this game since the excitement of it being the first game sort of overthrows any logic that could be written. Oregon Ducks football is back! It's here!! Autzen Stadium on Saturday will host a football game featuring Oregon!

I see this game going one way and one way only, Oregon just trounces the Bulldogs. It'll be like the first time machines started churning butter. Tune in on Saturday to watch the defending PAC-12 Champions begin their quest to the College Football Playoffs.

I'd be pretty surprised if Thibs was drafted in the top 3.

Love the overreaction to game 1. Keep underestimating the Ducks, please get that message to Ohio state quick
