GAME Ole Miss v Louisville @ Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta | 8:00e | ESPenis

It’s went past the intention of the rule and is now hurting the game overall.
And qbs are getting themselves killed by sliding way too late

?

Boston College, FSU, NC State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest all had good showings. Hard to tell with Miami because they played the juggernaut that is Alabama. Very few teams would have faired better.

Clemson had some issues on offense but they will fix it.
Boston College played Colgate, Pitt played UMass, Wake played Old Dominion.

It’s not a mental error. The qb was down but the whistle didn’t blow yet. How the fuck is he suppose to know

I mean it was right in front of him that player was down. Pretty easy call

What a terrible decision.

Watch the replay. Whistle was way late. There’s bodies everywhere. He’s looking to hit a defender not what his qb is doing

You can only perform against the competition that you play against. 75% of the teams in week 1 played schools like that. Some of them lost to teams like that. As long as you win in advance, you are good to go. My point was that there is still a slew of teams out there who could emerge from the pact.

They trying to set a record tonight with flags...smh

I did Watch again. Play was over and he took 3 extra steps to hit the guy.

Oh naw, I get that. I am diehard ACC. Been to every stadium in North Carolina and Virginia. However, I wouldn't brag about ACC teams beating that level of competition, and backing it up saying the ACC is fine because we beat Colgate, etc.

Whistle blew after he hit him. Way after
Really doesn’t matter. Still can’t take 3-4 steps after player is clearly down to clean up the pile. He has to see play was over. It happened right in front of him. That’s always getting called now.

Yeah but you can't say that team is bad either unless they struggled in the game. They did what they were supposed to do in week 1. Several schools like UConn, Vanderbilt, and Washington lost their opener against an FCS team.

Linemen play to the whistle. Always have always will. They are not watching the play

I see that, but not many ACC teams I would relate UConn and Vandy to. I agree on Washington. Now, watch Washington beat Michigan.

Washington strikes me as being one of those good teams that just laid a major egg. Virginia Tech lost to William & Mary or somebody like that one year and then went on to finish the season 11-2 and win the ACC.

Watching coaches on the sidelines begging for targeting calls is pathetic

Lmao. What's the record for ejections?
