Texpectations: Longhorn Superthread

Wait.
Decent offensive balance.
Good defensive scheming.
Not a dozen pre-snap penalties.
Not a couple of trick plays out of the blue for no reason to stunt our drives.

@Thiefery, when did we become KSU with better recruits? #nojinx

lol yeah.. what a smooth game.. no doubt Tom would have had this game up for grabs with less than 5 minutes to go.

Each corps gaining in efficiency and efficacy.
Winning the ‘easy’ games solidly by the end of the year.
Team defense and an actual running game coalescing.
A couple of outstanding recruits committing, particularly at OLine and RB.
January 5th wish list. Looking good so far.

Think they will land Stewart and Hudson at WR. They also will flip Cam Williams from Oregon

Yes. It’s going nowhere.
Yep, it was terrific seeing the whole team along with the fans singing it last Saturday after beating ULL

and now Thompson is starting.
There’s no way Card “won” the QB competition. THAT IS OBVIOUS
Sark just wanted to have a four year QB in four years when his job is first on the line.
You pulled a Herman Sark. Right from the beginning. Hope the locker room isn’t lost already.

Hudson was running into defenders and gun shy.. What do you want Sark to do? Keep him in there in hopes when things break down he'll be better?

Whut? When did anything I have said indicate that? Have you been snacking on Cheetos new dunce flavored puffs? :)
I’ve been shouting from the rooftops that Thompson was the better QB, and that the only reason Sark chose Card was because Card was a fish, and Sark wanted to forego a better team now for a potentially better one in three or four years.

...or what the worms told me that Sark was instructed by donghorn BMDs to send those uppity folk a lesson over the song brouhaha. He’s getting paid goooood money’s here should be able to make it work.

Sometimes it do, this time it donten’t.

Besides “I want a four year QB whom I groomed myself when my job performance review first comes up in four years”… what is the argument for starting Card over a Thompson this season?
Did any of you go to practices this Spring and agree with the notion that Card actually beat Thompson fir the job?

Crazy stat for Texas Longhorns QB Casey Thompson: "Since entering at halftime of the 2020 Valero Alamo Bowl, he has guided Texas to a score on 23 of his last 26 drives, including 7 of 8 against Texas Tech. In those drives, Texas has scored 21 TDs (11 passing, 10 rushing) and two FGs."
