GAME #22 Auburn @ #10 Penn St 7:30 pm (ET) ABC

Idk, but they've beat us a couple times, and we've always had the "better" team.

Edit: I'm pretty sure michigan has beat them once in a white out. Alabama was probably one, too

many Yuenglings have and will be consumed.

this is bad but I’m drinking corona tonight. I was running low and that’s what they had at my corner cvs

sometimes necessity wins... and really, I wouldn't turn down a corona if somebody handed me one.

That last PI call didnt hurt you any

The one to save us from a punt on the 1? That was an easy call. I was more surprised the one in the endzone wasn't a call with the way the night was going.

It's hard to choose the worst call by this crew.

The grounding call on Clifford when he was under no pressure and the receiver cut off his route?

The extra loss of down that coincided with that shitty call?

The lack of grounding on Nix?

The targeting call on 9?

The non-review of the 4th down run?

Or the horrible fucking spots by the crew on both sides?

But as bad as the refs were, PSU's guards and center were worse. They were dominated most of the game and were almost the cause of a loss.

It was a horribly officiated game to be sure, but it was an epic game and both sides had their chances to overcome those calls. The late targeting call that will keep a player out the first half next week is probably the worst of the outcomes outside of losing. Otherwise those bad calls were not the difference in that game.

Franklin’s response when holly asked him about the official explanation he got about the 3rd/4th down issue was the best
I missed that part driving back home from my in-laws, but just caught it... how do you call a bunch of refs idiots without saying a single word...

The targeting rule needs to be changed. It's a fucking joke.

This was the best game all day yesterday. Auburn had this game won and the refs missed calls and decided they want to make them up at the end of the game. Missed an entire down and then made a pass interference call but wouldn't make the same call for Auburn. The teams played well, the refs messed this game up.

I've seen punts with a lower trajectory.
This guy is not really a throwing qb, he has showed everyone that for the past 3 seasons. He can scramble. Auburn offense is easy to predict bc they dont have a pocket passer. They have 3 running backs, you dont need a scrambling qb.

An easy call? in no way was that PI. None. I’m not saying you didn’t have calls go against you but penn state fans like you claiming that was PI are delusional.

Especially when Auburn did not get the same call. This game was in Auburn, neither team would have gotten half the calls they got.

He just stared at her, that was awesome.

Penn State is overrated.

Penn State is overrated.

Who in the current Top 10 has better winS if using the pre-season polls as your gauge?

I'd have said Iowa before Indiana got beat yesterday.

I used the AP and included ORV's.

1) Alabama: #13 Florida and #14 Miami
2) Georgia: #3 Clemson and #45 UAB
3) Oklahoma: None
4) Oregon: #4 Ohio St
5) Iowa: #17 Indiana and #7 Iowa St
6) Clemson: None
7) Texas A&M: None
8) Cincinnati: #17 Indiana
9) Ohio St: None
10) Penn St: #12 Wisconsin and #30 Auburn

That's the problem with saying any team is overrated, because they all are. There aren't any real teams that do not look like they have some flaw or are otherwise beatable. Bama will be there at seasons end, but who else?

It's creating quite the dilemma for roider. He's running out of teams to lol and teams to claim he's been on board for from the jump.

On the Nix grounding he had a receiver in the area and the ball was over the line of scrimmage so it should be a no call. The Penn State grounding was a miscommunication between QB and WR and no one in blue was within 15 yards of it. Since the QB was not under duress it should have been a no call IMO. Therefore I would argue the mistake was calling a penalty at all.

The lost down is inexcusable and the crew should be suspended. Those were SEC refs and in the last 10 years I’ve never seen them screw up that badly. In the PAC that wouldn’t have surprised me at all but our guys are supposed to be better. The call in the Miss State game on the punt coverage was horrendous as well so SEC officiating failed last night.
