What teams have potential openings this off-season?

Depending on how the season ends up I could see the following jobs being opened if their teams dont make the postseason.

-Padres
-Orioles
-Twins
-Phillies
-Rockies
-Royals?

Health reasons
-Cleveland

Bud Black's either going to stick around as a placeholder for a few more bad years or the Rockies are just going to completely start over at manager as they rebuild. Kind of a shitty thing to do to a manager who took them to the playoffs his first two years on the job then had to deal with a roster that ownership completely gutted.

sadly, i don't see the phillies brass doing anything with girardi. they actually moved some things around recently that would indicate they're giving him even more control.

Baldumbass better be gone

Snitker seems checked out.

Maybe he retires.

He just got an extension and he just turned the season around without some major players. Braves were written off before the All-Star break, but since the trade deadline Atlanta's season has turned around. Had they not recovered i think that could be the case, but now that they likely win the NL East for a 4th straight season, he stays.

It's all the players.

I mean, how do you watch Joc Pederson rightfully plead his case on a terrible ball and get tossed without even leaving the dugout? He's old and checked out

Matheny is safe for at least a couple seasons while pitching prospects develop.

Braves fans the grew up with Bobby like me don’t like it when a manager is reluctant to get tossed. And he’s the worst bullpen manager I’ve ever seen
I guess he could retire, but he just signed an extension prior to this season, so i dont think he see's retirement on his horizons.

If he doesnt retire, i really dont see how the Braves can let him go given they just gave him an extension and he is very likely going to win his fourth straight NL East title. Not sure what manager would want to come into Atlanta if they knew they just fired a guy they gave an extension to and won four straight NL East titles with an NLCS Game 7 appearance as well.

Braves are stuck with Snitker unless he doesnt make the post-season this year. Then I think you could argue they could get rid of him, but if the Braves win the NL East, he's staying.

Padres..?
He’s not very popular right now. They might give him another chance since their pitching staff has been gutted with injuries and their GM stood pat at the deadline while all of their competition made improvements

That roster they should not be a .500 team plus he doesnt really have the experience as an MLB manager. I would be shocked if San Diego kept him, even if it isn't his fault, they will need a scapegoat for this let down of a season.

Scherzer to Dodgers instead of the Padres ended up being just as big as it seemed.

Unless they back into the playoffs and win the WS, I can see Boone gone from the Yankees. He’s spent how much? And they’re still struggling to make the playoffs. The only reason they were in last year is because it was expanded.

Not that I’m complaining. Couldn’t happen to a better team or fan base.
