Wacky Wednesday

Can’t drink at a golf scramble because your gal hid all your beer and expected you to be happy about it.

I sure hope every other quality of hers is off the charts. Because otherwise you are going to wake up in 10 years with a house, wife, and kids and hate your life.

I’m not suggesting alcohol should be more important, but unless you have a problem, she sure seems to be trying to control all your moves. Recipe for disaster.
She suggested us going to a counselor. Might as well get an outside perspective from someone.

Volleyball tonight. Probably grabbing a drink beforehand (sorry @gobucks0409). We needed a sub so I invited a parent I met through Deuce’s sports. We are in that weird space of “are we friends or just both have kids in sports.”
Enjoy your drink kobes

Mrs Pnk has been irritated with more than once after having one too many (or several too many) but she'd never just hide my beer.

I mean, she needs some counseling

She handled it completely wrong, if she has an issue she should talk to you and work on a mutual resolution

I would say there are two options

1. Give in and be her step stool for rest of your life
2. move on

Should be fine. Parents had me go to one when I was somewhere around 18-20 for the same thing of drinking at home by myself (and perhaps a couple of under age drinking misunderstandings with local authorities). Guy said it was perfectly normal.

In her defense on the beer stockpile... She didn't like it when I moved in, and we had an understanding that I would slowly work to reduce it, but I added 10 beers from a brewery over the weekend.

But I'm less concerned about my stock of beers than I am to have the freedom to have one when I feel like it.

@MTVike is the resident therapist. Maybe we need him to chime in.

Sounds like Stockholm syndrome.

i can understand (kind of) the stockpile of beer

we have a box of DVD's (by we, Mrs Pnk) that despite never watching, we can't get rid of

I think this spring, she'll finally be willing to part with them

I had 4 1/2 beers and one cocktail on Sunday while at the game/tailgating. Fell asleep at 8pm when we got home. She probably would’ve kicked me out of the house.

There’s really 2 options here.

1) He has a drinking problem
2) She’s a control freak
this is only like the 100th thread in which we've pondered whether or not he has a drinking problem, i think it's safe to assume he doesn't.

In fairness, it’s usually @ill making that commentary. Can we really trust his judgment?
