Tuesday With Fewer Douchebags

if I was mad at you sometime in the past, that's ancient history.

There's only one idiot here that I wouldn't piss on if he was on fire.
Wouldn't even have to change the angle of the dangle.

Of all of the airports to hate, DFW isn’t even top twenty for me. Other than the fact that it’s nearly impossible to depart and arrive at the same terminal (since American flies into Terminals A-D), it’s one of the easier airports to navigate. I’ll take it all day over O’Hare, LAX, Dulles, Atlanta, Minneapolis, etc.
whats wrong with MSP?

I'm not saying it's great, I've just never had an issue

except when I couldn't fine gate assignment because the TV that hosted AA was behind a potted tree for some reason

I fly on American a lot given their major presence in Dallas and rarely have issues.
^. This. They’re the best option for me for direct flights (also a hub). I might occasionally fly southwest if the price and route is right but I fly American about 90% of the time out of convenience

passed there on saturday evening. I-24 was closed on wednesday so we had to take a northerly route there.
I24 is my least favorite highway ever. Lots of semi wrecks and there's a stretch somewhere in there between Paducah and Clarksville that will jar the teeth right out of your head. At least it was that way on our last Florida trip.

My love for Southwest is mostly because I can fly most places direct even from Nashville. If I'm flying Delta, I try extra hard to connect in Detroit. Easily the best connection airport.

Of the ones you mentioned I hate Minneapolis the most because their gates are fucking miles apart.

It was all chopped and there was a long stretch where all traffic was single lane on the same side of the highway.

Weather delays and connections are always a million miles away.

My house is about equidistant from DFW and Love. I fly American about 90% of the time because I can get more flight options on American. Last week was an exception. For whatever reasons, Southwest had a lot more and better options to Puerto Rico, but it still wasn’t direct.

connecting at MSP should count as some sort of 5K. They should give you a little medal when you reach your next gate.
that actually makes sense, I obviously don't need to connect in MSP, so it's just go to my gate. Being I'm just going from entry to gate, I've never really thought about how far gates are apart, but I know what you're talking about

weather delays? At MSP?

But yeah, I see where you're coming from. As I live in MSP, I don't connect in MSP

I flew Southwest to Vegas for a conference last week. I got back just before all hell broke loose on their flights but walking through the terminal you could already see cancellations for the Saturday flights.

Did you have to create a profile and upload a vaccination card for PR? I heard you needed to do that. Going to be there in a few weeks.

Charlotte is a lot like this too. On more than one occasion I’ve had to go from B or C Concourse all the way over to E in about 10-15 minutes.

Yes. Make sure you have a copy of your vaccination card with you at all times. Go to their website (I can send you a link if you need it) and upload a picture of your vaccination card. They’ll send you a QR code to get out of the airport. But every restaurant you go to and the hotels will require proof of vaccination. Everywhere requires masks as well.

Atlanta can be tricky in that regard. Granted they have that train.. but a tight connection has caused me an issue or two there.
