Which is the better song?

Is the fact that "Come Together" borrows quite heavily enough to make the difference against such a worthy opponent? I think it actually might be.

This borrowing by the Beatles also directly led to the insane Mike Douglas clip of Yoko screeching and Chuck with that "WTF?" look on his face. I don't know if that is a positive or a negative.

But people that whine about the Beatles are hipster tards.

They were a great band. Whether they were overrated or not, they had no control over that.

Most rail against their early stuff, citing things like "bubblegum" and/or "pop". As I age, I'm starting to think that shit was better than their "drug years".

They wrote some hits in that time frame.

I struggle to understand folks that can't grasp historical significance, and historical influence.

The Beatles are as legend as legend gets. Deal with it.

I’m just over them personally. I don’t think they were overrated, I get the historical significance, get the influence, have had my share of caring phases and deep dives. Just at this point I don’t care if I never hear another Beatles song again. Unless it’s Norwegian Wood. That song rules.

Historical significance and influence is one thing. Elvis had that in spades too.

I can appreciate for that, doesn’t mean I have to like their music.
