No, we don't need him at the Saban School of Coach Rehabilitation.
Not even DC?

Brady is all NFL.You wouldn't want Joe Brady? Or you just don't think he would come back?
Not even DC?
He will actually still be an LSU employee.Never say never but O said he was gonna sit on his ass and spend LSU's money tonight at his press conference. I suspect he's still gonna be taking women and their kids to LSU practices next season.
if you exclude all the shady shit...Pat Dye won a natty in 1983 but got screwed in the polls
Terry Bowden had an undefeated season
Tommy Tuberville had an undefeated season
Gene Chiski won a national championship
Malzahn played for one
Our last 5 coaches have at least an argument for one except Malzahn but he had his shot.
While nearly all of us can't fathom the money these guys make, think about it a minute.Would LSU seriously match it?
If they do hell yeah I’d take it if I was jimbo. But that’s a ton of money, you guys would know better then I but I kinda feel like LSU wouldn’t match it and Fisher ain’t taking a pay cut to come back.
...and he lost to ULM last Saturday.Who's the next biggest guarantee they could go after? I'd say Hugh Freeze and he'd definitely be cheaper, but he comes with baggage after Coach O just left with baggage.
"Never say never" these days... There are still some schools and their BFDs out there that would probably be willing to "pony up" that kind of moolah for someone they really want - good idea or not.

I think he should be their spokesman for all media interviews.Maybe he could work on the groundskeeping crew and wrassle any pesky gators that might wander on campus?

Once they've gotten their "sack full enough" and haven't pissed it away, money doesn't have to be the driving force in job selection anymore. Hard for most of us to understand that concept. Very few of us (if any) have been blessed enough to make $5-$10 million a year. Except @HammerDown, he lives in the high dollar topics ya know.
Yep, their driving force has to be something other than money or ego for them NOT to take higher paying/more prestigeous jobs once their sack is full. Or they feel "I make enough money to live like my wife wants to." lol.Absolutely, they’ve all made a ton and at the end of the day they’d probably take less on the DL for better situations.
But also with getting all this money is the ego that can or does come with it. Being able to say you are one of the highest paid coaches is a status symbol to some of these guys. Of course they do need the money but they like the title and perception that feeds their ego with these high dollar amounts.
I almost feel like Petersen took the big payday to top off his savings and when he hit a goal he took it to the house. That retirement seemed to come out of the blue and the transition to Lake seemed calculated.Yep, their driving force has to be something other than money or ego for them NOT to take higher paying/more prestigeous jobs once their sack is full. Or they feel "I make enough money to live like my wife wants to." lol.
Chris Petersen was a good example. While he was making a decent living at Boise, he eventually took more money. But he turned down a shit pot full of offers until one that met other factors he desired came along.
His offenses were trash. Why would you want him to control your offense?Maybe as OC
I don't.His offenses were trash. Why would you want him to control your offense?
