also, are you trying to compare whatavurger to in-n-out? Because I don't understand the love for in-n-out at all. Must be what we have first.

Nostalgic. My grandfather (born in raised in a tiny dot on the map outside of Paris, TX) absolutely loved the stuff. He’d treat himself to one a day out of a glass bottle. When we were good, we could have one, too. I’m not much of a fan any more, but my youngest daughter loves it.

I don’t fully get the in-n-out craze, either. Their burgers are legit, but their fries are straight garbage. In either case, they’re not worthy of the lines you have to wait through to get them. When I was in college in Santa Barbara, they were still only in SoCal and the closest one was in Newbury Park (about 50 miles away). I had fraternity brothers who would make a road trip just to get it. That’s insane to me.

Is White Castle there or the other coast? Never had one of those other than the frozen ones. Can't imagine how anyone likes them, unless it's one of those "ironic cult" type things.
