Which ones do you find people either loving or hating them? I feel Iowa is such an old-school program, that people either want them to be great or people don't want a boring style to do good. Even though I don't think it is like it anymore, Miami was a team that was polarized due to their reputation. Alabama is a program that has become so successful, that they could be very polarizing. There are many reasons a team is polarized.

Which one do you think is the most polarized this season?

Texas A&M is getting there to me because of the fan arrogance. It’s just strange listening to them on radio shows before the season talking about winning the west with confidence basically discounting everyone but Bama. It’s kinda bizarre how arrogant they are.

People hating on Rattler and loving on Caleb Williams.

Everyone hates Michigan except Michigan fans

I was going to say the same about Auburn fans. They seem to not be very intelligent and run here with stupid threads about stupid facts that if applied to their own team are actually worse. :noidea:

To answer OP, I think the answer is Clemson. Though maybe not polarizing since they are now officially in the dumps. Tons of success of late and now crashing back to earth. A lot of people will enjoy that.

Suck it.

"Almost 5,000 Reddit users voted by state on the most hated teams in college football, and the results were pretty much as expected:
1. Ohio State (11.4%)
T2. Alabama (9.2%)
T2. Michigan (9.2%)"

A whole 5000 people? No way!

A lot of people hate Ohio State as well but year after year I'm surprised with people still not rooting for Michigan when Ohio State is good and Michigan is looking to upset them

Based on the results, it's likely that they hate both teams and don't care.

Cincinnati is pretty polarizing.
And G5 team that's winning is the polarizing team of the year. The real question is what P5 team jumps them at the end and prevents them from getting into the playoffs?

I agree. It seems any time a G5 starts to threaten a spot in the CFP it is very polarizing. Hell, even back in the BCS days when Gordon Gee was Ohio State's pres and he talked about Boise's "Sisters of the Poor" schedule compared to Ohio State's "Murderer's Row" one.

You can blame the Boise win over OU, the Utah win over Bama and the TCU win over Wisconsin. They started it all IIRC.

It's just a little more telling to be down as much as Michigan has been lately and still get that high on a list
