Yep, some of those will be pursued by other schools...depending on how many more jobs open up.
It is going to depend which way Tech wants to go. HC experience or not. Tubberville and Wells were the only "recent" ones they've hired that had HC experience...at least that I can recall. (Spike Dykes came out of the HS ranks.) The Pirate and Coach GQ we assistants.
I think Tech's going to have to be Transfer Portal U to make a splash. Even the greatest recruiter in the world is going to have a hard time selling Lubbock to top talent right out of high school. JMO
