"Technically" no one will ever know specifically because someone interfered. However, he is a professional baseball player, within range, for a routine foul ball. More reason to believe he would have caught it than not.

Bartman's was innocent? What does that even mean? I already said that no one should have threatened him, in the end it is just a game and people should relax. Plus, Bartman is not the reason the Cubs blew a 3-1 series lead either. With that said, ACTUAL fans know to not touch a playable ball, especially if the team you're for is able to make a play on it, and especially if its in the post season. As you can see with surrounding fans, everyone has their hands pulled in to allow Alou a chance to catch it.
