Can't think of one for Mizzou (2019 I guess with the bowl ban) but Pitt's was definitely 2007 with injuries and just hard luck ways of losing.

That '93 5-6 team snapped our 30 game unbeaten streak...
For me it's the 2000 Alabama team...started the year ranked #3, was traveling regularly at the time, so went to the Rose Bowl for the opener against UCLA...lost 35-24 to UCLA and #3 wound up being the number of wins we had....including losses to Tennessee, LSU, Mrs State(29-7) a shutout from Auburn and fucking UCF.

The only cool thing from that season was I got to see UVA (who I grew up watching) play Oregon in Autzen. Even though Oregon sucked that year, they still smacked UVA

Okie had some down time in the 90's but damn look at that record ever since! That consistency along with successfully transitioning coaches without any drop off is top level. I'll take that in the SEC.

I was at Auburn 90 to 94.
We went to one bowl game the 4 years but we did go 11-0 in 93 but were on probation. Didn’t care we barely won what we did and wouldn’t have won the bowl game honestly.
