Official: Ed Orgeron will not coach LSU next year.

A different version of the "decided schematic advantage" for the Domers - huh? :rolleyes2: :heh:
You don’t have to worry about beating Notre Dame in the playoffs if you destroy them from within.

The only reason I'd like to see Dabo at LSU is so Alabama could get another NC winning coach from them.

I would hate this move.. Dabo for all the shit he's been getting would get a lot, LOT more bluechip players since like 97% of 5 stars choose LSU within the state.. Plus he can basically say whatever the hell he wants and LSU will just nod and keep it going
I like Dabo but he has to make major changes or he is going to become obsolete. We know he won't take anyone from the transfer portal (which is insane) and my suspicion is will be very slow to embrace potential NIL deals. It's a strange new world in CFB and there are going to be guys that aren't cut out for it and Dabo might be one.

For those reasons I don't touch Dabo until I know the answers to those two questions.

LSU admin would "help" him with this imo

Yeah. There's other questions too. He seems to delegate a lot and be highly dependent upon his supporting cast and I'd like to see how he could do without say Brent Venables.

I don't care if Mel Tucker ends up at LSU but god damn it LSU this is the week to distract the shit out of him

The more I have read the more I think this is the guy I would hire if I was LSU.

1. Tucker
2. Kiffin
3. Stoops
4. Campbell

If you can't land one of those four then there is a problem.

No Kiffin, please. We have had enough personalities, thank you. I want someone boring.

Mel Tucker is looking likely.

I dunno why there is not more buzz regarding Alabama OC Bill O'Brien as a candidate for the LSU job. O'Brien appeared to do a very good job as the Penn State head coach immediately after the pedo/Paterno scandal.

There are now rumors swirling about Dabo Swinney going to LSU:

that isn't what that article says at all

"Nobody cares about them anymore. You’re not relevant. You’re not going to a good bowl game. Where are they going with that many losses? And they may have more.

"There are some who believe the LSU athletic director, Scott Woodward, wants, you ready for this? Dabo Swinney," Finebaum said. “It’s not really a big deal anymore when Clemson loses, but that loss yesterday? That was a dagger. To me, that was a seismic loss."

Finebaum is such a clown, lmao.
