Why does OU suck so bad. We're seriously like the worst 9-0 team ever.

I figured I was literally the only person here watching it.

And it's not as close as the score indicates. We already pulled our starters.

0 first downs in the first half for Kansas. At one point their QB was 0-2 with two picks. Our first drive we went braindead in the red zone and had a stupid play on 4th and 1. I think we scored on every drive until the one that ended the half after that.
 
And it's Kansas but it's really nice to just step on an opponent's throat. Game management and relying on defense has been working but kicking the shit out of someone is more fun.
 
Oklahoma State is mad and taking it on the next team. That's what good teams do.

FWIW: Iowa State led Kansas 28-0 on 4 Brock Purdy TD passes at the end of the first quarter!

They didn't convert a 3rd down the entire game. Didn't get a first down until the 3rd quarter when we had our starters out. Under 50 yards of offense in the first half. Last year we kicked their ass so bad I thought I could have thrown for 300 against them. This was worse.

Big game on the road against WVU next week. It should be a win for us but ISU thought the same thing and we know how that turned out. TCU and Tech have given up on their season so a win next Saturday sets up a possible Bedlam double header with playoff implications (more for them than us but it counts).
 
OU is getting the best from every team we play this year. Sort of a "fuck you" for the whole SEC thing. But yeah, confounding how we have struggled. Appears as if things may be heading in the right direction. As we get more of our injured back, I think our D will show more life. Just shows we're not as deep as the media led us to believe at season's start.

To be fair, ISU slapped Kansas 59-7 - including taking a 28-0 lead in the first quarter a couple of weeks before OU softened the Jayhawks up for the Cowpokes. :)
