Guess the CFP Top 25

Just curious. Name me one impressive win so far for OU? Cause I got nothing.
Name an impressive win for UGA.

Clemson, Arky and Kentucky don’t look so hot now and Florida is a bigger dumpster fire than Texas

I guess Auburn is looking ok, but nothing spectacular
only thing i got out of this conversation is that the Deacs should be #1, cuz they don't have any impressive wins either!

So does/did Wisconsin. I know all about 1 dimensional teams.
Wisconsin also lost to Notre Dame by 1,000 points. UGA is undefeated.

I just wonder if they'll knock Cincy out of the top 4 from the start or wait and bank on better arguments down the road for teams to jump them. :headscratch:
They are going to wait week by week and slowly burn their hearts. Watch the last week they will be #4 and drop to #5. They will even say, "this was a tough decision but we think they will get skull fucked by Georgia so we have decided to drop them in efforts to boost CFP ratings. Maybe next season."

I'm not saying that Wisconsin even belongs. I'm just saying that 2 wins against Top 25 teams is not all it's cracked up to be.
It is when the team they're being directly compared to has 0 top 25 wins. and both of UGA's top 25 wins are currently ranked.

Wisconsin only has one top 25 win since Purdue is no longer ranked.

yup

One loss UGA
One loss SEC champion Alabama
One loss Ohio State or Michigan State
Undefeated or one loss Oklahoma
One loss Oregon

If those scenarios happen, we're not only talking about Cincy getting left out but we're gonna ask which P5 team gets left at home

Cincy needs both Oregon + Bama to lose again. Even then, what's going to stop the committee from putting a one loss Michigan State (to Ohio State) in over Cincy?

Everyone they faced #3, #8, #11 and #18. ... You can't hide.
Does Clemson really count as a #3 ranked team win. The answer is no. I could see if this was midseason but they are barely a top 50 team.
Arky had some steam early in the season but kinda fell off the map.
Florida is garbage but that's something we all knew would happen with Big Game Danny.

All that being said, even if the wins vs ranked team aren't overly impressive...they are easily the #1 team imo. They EASILY have the best defense and are dominating opponents left and right. The only team that has a chance until the SECCG to come close to them is Tennessee and they are inconsistent but it is in Knoxville so maybe they take out half the team with golf balls and shoes.

Same ol argument. Purdue was ranked at the time vs where did they end up. I just love rehashing old bullshit. Same arguments every year. I'm of the opinion that the CFP rankings are just a marketing tool until the last one. Keeps people interested in the games and even the bye weeks.

The CFP are just an invitational. There are no hard rules to get in. The CCG is the last game where you have to meet hard criteria to play. The rest are just exhibitions.

Yeah basically, like you said, you need all or most of those 1 loss teams to take another loss. Then of course Michigan St to lose twice. Their perfect scenario.

Cincy go undefeated...

UGA undefeated #1 (beating Bama)
Oklahoma undefeated (beating Baylor and Okie St)

Bama, Ohio St, Michigan, Oregon, Okie St and MSU - all 2 losses (which could realistically happen) and Wake Forest needs to lose

Then they have two spots to possibly get in. They would have no choice but to put Cincy in.

Yes ... when they played them ... the point being that Georgia did not duck competition ... not many P5 teams do. Georgia is #1 and should be until someone beats them.

Arkansas has only lost 3 games all to ranked teams:

#1 Georgia
#5 Ole Miss (at the time and they were healthy not the mess they are right now and only lost by 1)
#14 Auburn

They get through Mississippi State Saturday they should win all but Alabama with all their losses coming from ranked teams. They haven't fallen off the map at all.

doesn't matter

georgia gonna win it all
