i wonder if popeye is to blame for the stigma of spinach being gross when you're a kid. definitely didn't look appetizing coming straight from a can

Yeah, I am not sure. Fresh spinach wasn't really a big thing for us growing up, usually my mom just boiled that brick of frozen stuff and added a bit of salt.

I do like creamed spinach, we eat that fairly regularly.

possible, I'll eat fresh spinach now, I wouldn't as a kid

I still wont eat peas, green beans, asparagus.....rabbit food
