Guess the CFP Top 25

I am just curious here and it would take a lot for this to happen. But the media keeps saying a two loss Alabama is out of the CFP. Oklahoma loses one, yes it could happen. Ohio State loses one, I don’t see it but it could happen. Could happen to Oregon and Michigan State. Alabama loses to Georgia in 3 overtimes. Bama would still be in.

Exactly ... they will be able to play themselves in ... win out, they are in.

As for UGA, I think our case stands up to scrutiny - per my post, "average margin of victory is 32 points per game." Compare that to OU against those teams. We've beaten 2 teams in the top 25, the no. 13 and 18 teams, by a combined 64-23, which is 41 points. OU beat those 5 teams including 2 that are 1-7 by 40 points.

Pretty much no. 1 in every defensive metric (we are giving up 6.6 points per game / we've given up 5 offensive TDs in 8 games). And the O is pretty good and getting better. We are through our toughest games with 4 more to go:

Mizzou (4-4)
UTjr (4-4)
Charleston Southern (3-4)
GaTech (3-5)
SECCG (Auburn or Bama)

Hmmm ... 13-0 OU gets left out and who gets in? 12-1 UGA, 12-1 Bama, 1 loss tOSU, 1 loss Ore? I can't see that happening. If tOSU beats UM, MSU, and Wisky, I can see them get in with a loss. Not Oregon over undefeated OU.

11-2 Alabama could definitely get in depending on the circumstances
 
I didn't expect OU to be top 4 but at 8. Fucking laughable.

I think the point is that 15-25 would require tons of help from other people because they have already lost at least 2 games. And lets be real, most will lose at least 1 more and won't even be in their conf championship games.

This is why a 12 team CFP is needed. Then the top 25 are all in it right now.

I said "pretty much" not all of them. I think you are no. 1 in 1 metric. Total yards, but we are better at yards per play which is a more relevant metric. Look, you have a great D. Never said you didn't. This is the second thread you've come at me about your D. Make your case.

Wisconsin is #1 in totals yards, yards per game, rushing yards, 1st downs allowed off the top of my head. Ahead of Georgia in 3td down conversion %.

Not bad all things considered. Had the wrong B1G team with PSU instead of Minnesota and the wrong G5 team with Houston instead of SDSU

Nope, saying that the stats show you ain't #1. I can go for the best scoring defense, no.problem. Defense is one of 3 parts to the game. Our defense is as good as yours statistically but in the other 2 areas we suck. You don't. Just trying to crow what we can crow about.

Pretending they arent important much less saying it is pure stupidity. It’s how people make arguments for one over another. Its literally what helps build most of a resume. That’s my point.
