Rolling Stones to stop playing Brown Sugar

First time the Stones ever played Brown Sugar, only several weeks had passed since they recorded it, In December 1969.

The show: Altamont Free Concert.

The Hells Angels (security for the event) stabbed and kicked a black kid to death, during their set.

While I’m sure there was some Twitter beef somewhere out there on this, I don’t recall too much of a buzz on it that the band would have felt they need to cave to.
