2022 Recruiting Thread

Mykel Williams flips from USC to UGA

Sounds like Bear Alexander recommitted to UGA.

Figured he was Aggie bound

He should be a good player. If Oregon is going to lose a commit, I'm glad it's at WR. Oregon has a lot of top targets still on the board for them at WR. I'm guessing they'll replace Anderson with Darrius Clemons out of Portland.
Hell, after losing ALL of our WR commits I'm just happy to finally get one. I like his size, but I've yet to watch any of his film. If hes half the athlete his brother was, I'll be happy.

Good size, great hands. He’s a very solid pickup

he hasn't done much this year in high school, it's a steep fall from what they were looking at a few months ago with Hudson who still is committed to SMU

But it's tough to recruit WRs without a QB in the class, which is no surprise that they are loading up at it in '23

didn't realize that Satenga or whatever also flipped to Arkansas

Yeah he wanted to be closer to home. This was a bigger hit but the WR room at Oregon is pretty stacked right now, I’m sure that scares some people away

don't look now but Kelvin Banks is making visits in Texas now. His parents are pushing him to stay closer. He's visiting UT in a couple weeks (not sure if it's an official or not) and word is he might be at the aggy/auburn game this weekend

Ive heard he’s visiting Aggie and might make a trip to Texas. This definitely feels like a parents vs player deal. He seems very high on Oregon, I’m sure his parents are pressing him to at least visit the in state options. Hard to beat parents on the recruiting trail though

yeah he locked in his visiting date to Austin today. Not saying he's flipping this way, but I've heard aggy has a good shot at being the one school he stays closer too.

Kind of interesting that Devon Campbell and Kam Dewberry are also visiting that same weekend. Because Dewberry seems like an ou lean right now and if that's the case, maybe Banks is willing to go to ou too? :(

Yeah, he said Aggy was #2 when he committed to Oregon so I would think they have the better chance to flip him.
