How many gallons of Milk do you go through a week?

Still cheaper than bottled water
24 pack of bottled water is $3.19 at kroger. if we were to have one at each meal for my family of 4..we would go through a pack in 2 days.... soo

yes you are right.

i just have one of thingys on my fridge and i pay $20 to change the filter every 3 months.

those filters are expensive...I only change it every 6 months, if that

The wife and I go through about a gallon a month. Mostly for smoothies and an occasional bowl of cereal. $2.79 a gallon is pretty steep though. I have seen the price of groceries go up slightly over the past couple of months but that is an outrageous price.
That's like me.... Usually around a gallon a month. For cereal, french toast, with cake/pies and the occasional smoothie when I'm not too lazy to make it myself, :heh:

As a kid, my Mom bought milk by the case at the Navy Commissary. Usually about 4 cases (6 half gallons/cs) a month for me and my 3 younger brothers. My dad didn't drink much milk.

I only use it in coffee.

That being said, while the numbers ($1.99 and 12 Gallons) seem ridiculous, I think people are missing the point about the price groceries, and everything else going up.

I don't believe the fridge at all when that little light turns red.
I have a whole house filter and water tastes just fine out of my tap...

but it is a little better coming from the fridge...I will admit

no one is missing that point.

it's just Big Dairy trying to take advantage of us

you should ask your mom next time she goes grocery shopping for you
Mom jokes huh retard?!?

My Mom died a decade ago Moron.

You really want my attention?

Because usually once you get it, you whine like a sissy little bitch....

I go through about a liter a week and I have noticed the price creeping up.

might be cheaper to go the oat milk route soon

A liter? You aren't buying it by the liter....

Looks like we now know who's Mom is buying them milk in this thread. Dumbass doesn't even know how milk is packaged.

Milk is for children.

My kids drink a lot of it.

The "store brand" regular milk is $2.69 per half gallon in my area. The branded 'regular' milk is over $3.00 per half gallon. :noidea:

I don't give a shit about the politics

Similar here: half gallons of the regular stuff are over 4 dollars, and the organic stuff is closer to 6 bucks a half gallon.

Yes, people, we're talking 8-12 dollars for a gallon of milk.
